What a difference 3 days make.

A brief post to bring you a video of the baby bunnies born on January 4th, 2011. You might want to look at the previous video first and then view this one. There is a rather dramatic difference in their size and their demeanor....several now have open eyes (this usually occurs around age 10 days...these little ones are 12 days old in this video). Development is very rapid......enjoy.

If you accept the responsibility of a companion animal....then neuter or spay them...please....all of the animal people deserve homes and too too many (literally millions) domesticated animals are killed each year because no one wants them and sanctuaries that do not kill healthy animals are full or are without the resources to care for them.

Thanks for the video! I was so relieved to see the solid colored dark baby who was the most active in the first video....when he wasn't there at first and not showing up under the other babies, I was a little worried. And I don't know why I assume he's a he. Anyway, they look great! I hope Mom's still eating a lot. And getting some rest.

Thanks Krissa for commenting. All 9 are still zooming along. It is almost spooky how rapidly they are changing/developing. Mom is packing away the calories...she was underweight to begin with and her having to make milk is just more of a drain on her....SFSG (so far, so good) :-)

Thanks for the update! Their growth in just a few days is remarkable. So glad to see they are thriving under some wonderful care. Still, it can't be repeated enough "spay and neuter... neuter and spay".

Thanks for commenting Bea.

Never too often...spay and neuter...neuter and spay.

The small ones are...words are inadequate.
