This year the Winter Solstice is accompanied by a total lunar eclipse along with the Ursid meteor shower. Here in Oklahoma viewing conditions were terrific and the temperature was a relatively mild 46 or so degrees. Perfect for hanging around outside and watching nature and the universe strut their stuff.
In honor of this year's Winter Solstice, eclipse and meteor shower, Griffin wants to wish all of you the best.

Happy Solstice and please remember that our fellow animals lives belong to them, not us.

Griffin every time I see you with your front feet perched on that potty box like you are waiting for a taxi it makes me smile smile smile. Somebody would be very lucky to have you in their home.
Thanks for commenting Christina. Griffin would "spice" up a home wouldn't he. :-)
Griffin is quite a handsome guy! And I think I'm not mistaken, that is Marshall on the graphic below. I like it! ... Ah, the lunar eclipse. It was only visible here (Berlin) just before sunrise. No problem since I get up well before 6:00am and the sunrise isn't until around 8:00. The moon was totally visible from our windows right up until the eclipse was going to begin. Then it started moving and even though I went downstairs to the driveway, I missed it because it had moved behind neighboring buildings. Ah well. The moon was pretty that morning anyway.
I was wrong!! That's Benson! Yeah? Geez. I was gone too long!
Thank you Krissa for commenting. Griffin and Marshall thank you too (although the photo is of Benson). Griffin, Marshall and Benson are all glad you are back...and they all think you are pretty swell too. :-)
