Be well, be kind and enjoy! Consider visiting a local animal shelter or rescue and giving some of your time and attention to the beings there. Thank you.

Thank you for commenting Christina.

Being kind...yes. Isn't it curious how something so easy seems to elude so many...

The photo of the piglets reminded me of our recent trip to Farm Sanctuary to see our adopted calf. There were two piglets who, when released from the barn, raced around, chasing each other, stopping to lift their little snouts to the wind and the sun. No one could embody joy and sensual pleasure better. How can anyone eat these creatures?

Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Humane New Year for all creatures.

Be well, be kind and enjoy. So simple.

May 2012 be kind and gentle to you and your family (human and non-human). And kinder and gentler to more and more of our fellow earthlings.
