Winter Solstice...2011...

The December solstice will occur at 05:30 (or 5:30am) Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) on December 22, 2011. Greetings and best wishes to you and yours on this holiday occasion. Please make this a peaceful and caring celebration time by living as an ethical vegan.

    The photo of the piglets reminded me of our recent trip to Farm Sanctuary to see our adopted calf. There were two piglets who, when released from the barn, raced around, chasing each other, stopping to lift their little snouts to the wind and the sun. No one could embody joy and sensual pleasure better. How can anyone eat these creatures?

    Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Humane New Year for all creatures.
