The double chin is properly called a dewlap and it is speculated they develop in order to facilitate the female being able to pull fur from the skin on her neck for nest building. As far as I know, unless there is some injury or infection, veganelderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05188156008589356984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7688566476953748496.post-78749505936914939132010-12-19T13:50:05.796-06:002010-12-19T13:50:05.796-06:00Darla looks sweet. Maybe it's obvious, but I don't quite get the connection, snort. Tango and Mojo came from a backyard breeder before I was exposed to the world of bunny rescue and the horrors inflicted on bunnies. I was completely disgusted when I walked into that yard that day. I wont go into it. I am just glad my girls are with me and I will never patronize a breeder again.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10162908970037557053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7688566476953748496.post-88994775014556034012010-12-15T09:12:26.727-06:002010-12-15T09:12:26.727-06:00Thank you VE for telling Darla's story. Well, maybe a crowd for a little bit, but the story will grow dark and the realization sinks in that it won't have a happy ending. We should say though that there are a few youngsters Murph's momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12338001599462933717noreply@blogger.com
